7 Star Demo Site: Managers need to spend more time setting up “gigs” for their clients and less time organizing website content for each artist. These types of volatile content that tend to change often are like new music releases, calendar of events and biography of each client. We can quickly see that as the number of artist scales up this type of management can consume all your free time. There is no real way to manage this in an excel spread sheet and updating several websites. We will always need to keep our data in one place to have one version of the truth, prevent duplicate data entry and inefficient operations just trying to keep content current. All downstream systems such as mySpace, Facebook and twitter should get the trusted information from the main website. This was the focus of this project.
